Well I thought they based on them? Wasn't Starcraft originally a joint 40k and blizzard game but 40k backed out and blizzard just kind tweaked it a bit to avoid losing the game and being sued?

I'm hoping around next month the rest of my grant comes in and I can start looking around for parts. I think I'm gonna build it rather than go pre build.

Any recommanded parts?

Depends your doing a full build right? if so then need to know the size of your case so we know what mother boards will fit. trust me nothing will piss you off faster then finding out your case is to small for your new mother board.

or are you talking laptop? if so go Toshiba I think they are still having some Sell deals for custom built laptops.

Be sure to get a killer processor. Graphics and all that is peachy, but none of it will matter without a good processor.

It's good that you're building your own. More expensive for the custom parts, but well worth the cost in performance.

In my heart the Zerg will always be better than the Nids. The Nids didn't invent the globally used term "Zerging." I played the Zerg long before I ever even heard of the Nids. They were my first galaxy-crushing-parasitic-swarming-numbers-over-quality love.

Everyone raves about how the Nids are better than the Zerg. The Nids only see more success because they are fighting civs with inferior tech. I believe the Terran out-tech the Imperium hands down.

that was the case for warcraft, but GW broke the deal, so blizzard change the name and bam you have a new game

It's true, there are a ton of resemblances. But there are also original ideas that sepparate them a good deal.

Protoss and Eldar are similar via ancient, psychic, highly advanced alien race who are both deeply trenched in tradition. I'd take the Protoss over them however. Protoss were a warrior race from the beginning, are just as psionically powerful, and in my opinion have better space fleets. Worldships are great, but I'd put my money on a gang of Void Rays in a fight.
