The year is 0079 January 1st you remember the years of living on side 3 as life slowly became different after the mass Mobilization of Mobile suits on the colony as you reminisced they years before

The Speech's, the purge's and finally the building of Mobile suits as a voice soon reached your ears

"Petty Officer 3rd class Jack Dandy do you hear me" said a Voice as a man in a uniform was staring straight at you

"Yes sir!" Jack said as responce to him as he shook off the memories, even though he had no idea who the guy was. It seems like he was assigned a different superior each day. 'At least I'm not at the very bottom of the food chain.' He thought to himself.

"well then I'm Lieutenant Hamron and I'll be your acting commander for the up coming operation" Hamron shouted as he looked at you and around the room as you noticed more people sitting next you as they all seem to vary around different ages

"it seems you soldiers are going to become part of our main attack force but we need to do some last minute training to make sure you still have the skills to fly" said Hamron as he motioned everyone to follow him as he then left the room

He goes to follow Hamron and the group. Jack had a slight smile on his face, the operation finally drawing close. He always hated waiting, growing old is not exactly a fun hobby.

As Hamron leads you though the halls you come upon massive docking bays of side 3 as a few Musai are docked and being loaded with supplies and Mobile suits as Hamron calls out your name

"Jack , Rick , Hunter, Nix , Rangar you men will be part of the Dolores and her crew now get moving and prepare to launch the rest of you follow me we have your assigned ship waiting" said Hamron as he walked off with the rest of the soldiers

Jack popped his neck and checked his uniform before he started heading for the Dolores. "Times wasting." He simply said to the other men with a smirk.

As three of the other pilots shrugged and started moving together another pilot ran to catch up with as you remembered his name to be Rick

"Yo Jack so down will ya not everyone is that excited"said Rick with a smirked as he walked by your side

"so what you doing in a place like this old man" Rick then added as he kept in pace with you till you got to one of the side entrances of the ship

He looked at the kid with a raised brow. "Honestly? Because I rather do this than grow old and die in a bed" he said bluntly to Rick. He doubted the kid would even survive long, so why not be honest.

Rick looked abit confused but still had a smile on his face

"well ain't that a bit morbid then Jack" as Rick shrugged as you two walked the halls of the ship until you two entered an elevator

"so the reason your here is to find a place to die on the battlefield...well I guess everyone can't be all Roses and daisy's then" Rick then added as he looked at the ceiling of the elevator as you felt it rock and moved upwards

Jack sighed. "Kid, we are about to enter a war with technology humankind has never used before, it's not not going to be roses and daisies, it's going to be corpses and wrecks." He explained to him. Then he looks at him with a grin. "I might rather enjoy it too." He finished.

Rick stood silent as he contemplated what you had said as the elevator soon came to a stop as Rick walked out and onto the bridge

"Rookie Rick Kroll reporting for duty Captain" as Rick saluted a man with grey hair as he seemed half dressed in his space suit as the captain then looked at the elevator as he expected someone else

Jack steps out of the elevator and salutes to the captain. "Petty officer third class Jack dandy reporting sir." He said to the captain as he stood at attention.

The captain observers your face then Ricks and continues looking to his left

"at ease as I would like to welcome you all to the Dolores and I am her Captain Nomen" said Nomen as he introduced himself as he then looked behind you

"well it seems like were lanching and I think you all would like to see this" Nomen then added as a smile graced his face as he looked out massive glass window

Jack relaxed and looked behind him to see what the captain wanted to show them. This was the first time in a long time since the last time he left the colony. 'Should be interesting hopefully.' He said in his head.

As the ship lanched the Vastness of Space was the opened up to his eyes as Musai class ships could be seen as far as the eye can be seen

"welcome to Zeon's space attack force as of now we will be in travel for a while until we get to the operation Zone" said Nomen as he looked at the crew

"your Suits will be inside the Hanger at the bottom of the ship as you can use the elevator to get there as your rooms will be on the floor above the hanger so feel free to roam around the ship its home for you now" Nomen then finished as he then started barking orders to the crew to get ship running and moving at half power

"Well isn't this Grand Jack" said Rick from your left as he seemed in awe as he stared at the fleet as Zaku's 1 and a few 2's were moving about

"And we'll have front row seats to the whole thing too." he said with a smirk as he watched the fleet of ships and mobile suits through the viewing window. "Wonder how long before we get to the operation zone." he wondered aloud.

"Two days" Captain Nomen replied as he looked at your backs

"Now you still have time for some final training if necessary but you are free to do with what with your time so if anything heard done to the hanger for some practice but if not head to your rooms we have a long ways to go" said Nomen as he then focused his gaze back out the window as he watched the fleet move

"I don't know about you, but I rather keep my self familiarized with my suit." he said with a grin to rick as he goes to head for the elevator. He didn't go because he wanted to practice, he just liked the feeling he gets when he pilots the Zaku 1.

"hey Jack wait up" said Rick as he jogged up behind you as he followed you into the elevator

"it seems like the other three are probably heading to there rooms so looks like its just gonna be us today" Rick then added as he pressed the button going down to the hanger bay as the elevator started descending

"I gotta wonder about your skill with a Zaku though you possibly couldn't be that good old man" Rick said with a friendly smirk

"Why, is that a challenge I hear?" He said with a sarcastic grin. "If you want to know, we'er goning to find out in a moment now aren't we?" he said as he waited the doors again to let them out to the hanger.
