Well I'm not a big otaku like some people I know but I do have a soft spot for anime, when reflecting on what brought me into the (crazy) world of anime (eleven years ago) three names come to mind Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. ________________________________________________________________

My first manga was Vampire Knight which got me into manga and anime in general (I thought it was amazing when I read it, if you kill me I'd understand completely...)
What really kicked it off for me was the Death Note anime, I still maintain that it's awesome and that L is a god.

I used to watch Gundam when I was younger but haven't seen it in ages.
I did also watch Dragonball Z around the same time. Pretty much watched them all. It was always on when my dinner was ready so I watched them all =D
The Dragonball Z Abridged stuff is great. Goku is a complete idiot and makes me laugh so much =D

If you like DBZ abridged try this one it starts out slow at first but the jokes are pretty good and it brings back a lot of memories...as well as settle Thunder Dome
