After that, I found FLCL (Fooly Cooly, or something like that..), and I cant say, to this day, after have watched it three separate times, that I understand anything of that series... >.<
After that, I explored the awesome world of anime without remorse.

But now days, I'm more for manga.

Same weekend I saw Riding Bean, Cowboy Beebop and Genocyber. If you havent watched any of these I highly recommend them. Cowboy Beebop the movie is good but not as good as the series, watch the series first.

Why did they ever stop showing anime on British TV? It's probably because of the terrible dubs but it ain't that bad to stop showing it.
Your right it was stopped because of Terrible dubs but also it was because the British did not have the magic Voice of Steve Bloom
Emporer469, I use to be a spacemarine just like you but then i took a taser to the Knee.

That Guy voice acts in just about every damn thing.

For anyone starting out, I recommend those two, along with Cowboy Bebop and good ole' Kenshin - or Substitute Kenshin with Samurai X. Those can get the ball rolling pretty well.
