He looks around as Augustus goes around putting up the covers on the windows. "Is there anything else that needs to be done?" He asked after coming back inside from throwing out the last few limbs outside and to the pile.

Augustus turns walking up the stairs and tosses you his lighter.

" burn the pile... Keep the fire low or you'll attract more of them...there's already fuel there."

"Jawohl." he said as he caught the lighter, surprised he was trusted with one. There was a smile under the gasmask as he headed back outside and toward the pile of rotting flesh they had made. "Right, low, I can do that." he said as looked at the lighter and the pile. He grabbed what looked like a arm with fuel on it and stretched it out before he flicked the lighter on near the limb.

The fire catches but it is quickly growing out of control.

The soldier rushes out with lankets , smothering the worst of the flames as he watches you.

" that man... The one who saved me.... He killed a television personality weeks back.... How do you know him."

He help the soldier keep the flames down as he talked. "Well, he pulled my sorry kraut self out of a helicopter crash quiet a few months ago now. Stuck with him since." he told him. "Just how much fuel did he use? And he calls me the firebug." he said with a smirk under the mask.

He smiles.

" judging by the smell? About 10 gallons."


He stares off into the night quietly.

" I owe you guys one..... I'm great with vehicles... Any you did I can work on."

"To be fair, I took you with me because I thought you were infected and Komrade is a bit of a scientist, but I was going to make sure your siblings were taken care of." he told him, being honest with his intentions. He stood up as he played with the lighter for a bit, the light of the flame reflecting off the lenses of the gasmask. "I got quiet a few back home in germany, big extended family too. It's why I took up this job really." he told him.

He says as he watches his sibling asleep in the room across from you.

" Chinese army... My first two years of service."

He watches the sky.

" a year has changed this place.... It got bad after the fourth month of quarentine... Riots attracted the undead in droves."

"The undead, heh, here I thought they would only be fiction." he thought aloud as he shook his head. "This all started happeing after that earthquake, ja?" he asked him, with him actually living here when it happened.

He nods.

" those closest to the epicenter got the worst ,., then came the madness and chaos when the walls where put up.."

He shudders weakly.

" anyone who got closeto the walls got gummed down .."

"And that just only attracted more of the things to the walls from what I heard." he sighed, recolleting some of the stories from others that were stationed here before him. "And now? The goverments are going to try to rid their hands of this whole ordeal and leave everyone here for dead." he said, his tone bitter.

He nods.

" I watched from the roof as your kill teams went block to block ... Only to be driven back as te opened the charnel houses.... We're fighting a losing fight."

"We were fighting something we have no idea about, I'm kind of surpirsed we lasted this long really." he admitted. He lays out on one of the lobby couches. "Now I'm thinking of how fast this might spread once the walls are blown down." he said in a sigh, dreading the thought of any of these things reaching Germany.

Augustus corrects him, appearing at your feet as you open your eyes.

" the virus is evolutionary .. It's initial spread was through spores releases by the earthquake.. From there the first infected became carriers. The disease kills the host then begins rewori g and reconfiguring the hosts organs to be in a constant state of decay/ growth."

He picked his head up to look at Augustus now. "If it's evolutionary, are there mutations or something like that out there then?" he asked him, now wanting to know if there was more than just the walking normal ones prowling out there now.

Augustus shrugs.

" if it can spread across species possibly, I won't know for sure until I find a lab."

He cracks his back and lights a cigarette.

" I need a facility and ill know for sure."

"Well, there is that scientist with patient zero you talked about before." he reminded Augustus, the plan they made earlier. "Perhaps his lab is still in good condition to be used?" he suggested as he laid his head back down on the couch.
