Greetings.

Well, I had an suggestion regarding Talon Lord Othrim's RP section. It being a fast growing and very active forum, I believe it deserves an own banner, like Sanctuary. I know very well that Sanctuary is the biggest, and longest running, RP forum on GWRS, therefore deserving the Banner that comes with the membership.
But Othrim runs a tight game, with clear game rules that many other GM's on the site use, and since his return, the games participants have grown, and activity is up. Since Warhammer RP requires a membership, that membership should come with a banner.
Awesome RP requires awesome banner. See Sanctuary as best example.

Why Otrhim don't suggest this? Don't know, ask him. Probably busy with trying to kill all our characters..
Why I do it? Maybe it's because I'm a selfless nice guy? Or maybe a shameless brown-nose that hopes that I will get an epic weapon in the RP for this?

Naah, I'm just looking for another awesome banner under my name..

Othrim already contacted me a month ago about this and I informed him that we no longer assign banners to non-Factions, non-Staff ranks. As usual we don't grandfather rules in, so we won't strip existing ones.

Custom backgrounds yes, banners no.

I left this thread open for the laughs, but there is nothing you can do to change the result. We only put banners on factions and ranks now (Staff groups are ranks).

We were having a massive problem with people collecting banners like tic-tacs. Once you get to so many they start a second line; that extra line doubles the postbit for that user making the forum ugly and absolutely massive for vertical scrolling (it also completely messes up the organization of all the text and awards etc on the right).

It is essentially a software restriction, not one we arbitrarily set.

Anyway, funs over. Moving thread to the proper location.
