Thanks to Opeth and Gerhard for recommending this too me, I just read it all today and have to say its an awesome read.

And I have to say I never wanted a fictional character dead so much since Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2, seriously some people in this manga can sick you to the core :/

Haven't seen so many feels from death in manga since Dead died.

Small question, is Lucy Yangire or Yandere? Normaly Id say Yandere but does having split personalities count? One part is very Dere and cute etc, and the other is an insane murdere, its hard to call.

I consider split personalities as completely separate characters. They may have the same body and maybe a few similarities, but they're differences far outweigh them.

That's what I thought, so Nyu is very dere, the part of her that reflects her nature is extremely yangire. But what about Lucy herself? The original Lucy? Not her split personalities. Does she not love Kouta to the point of murdering those who threaten him? Is that not Yandere?

That's one of the great mysteries of Elfen Lied. We just don't know. We can discuss and debate all we want, but the truth is, no one knows or will know, because that's how the story is told.
