How many people are away IRL right now? Gerhart, Romulus, Py'ron? Because I'm about to head out for about 2hrs, seeing a movie. Was wondering if it's viable to pause for a bit since about half the cast would be in Othrim's hands

Fafnir and Damas move out of the holding quarters followed be Adrak they move up front towards the cockpit battling their way past flying debris they gets to the bridge. The forward view screen is blown out leaving the whole cockpit open to the vaccume of space. The Piolet is nowhere to be seen and only the servitor co piolet is present. As they look out of the hole to space their view is filled with the flank of an Ork BattleKroozer and they are heading straight for it!!!

Alright everyone. The trouble is just starting and the only on in danger (as far as I know) is Rom's guy. I was talking with Nox and suggested we board the Ork ship take over at least the Bridge and engine room and fly that to the surface. We could then destroy/crash the ship or leave a small team behind to purge it for further use incase we need firepower.

What are your thoughts on this?

I am against this for the following reasons 1) I do not believe we are being shot at, I believe we are merely in the flak field of an Ork vessel firing on Tyranids that are assaulting the planet as we heard in our briefing. 2) We are on a mission of stealth and we only have while the asteroid storm shields our main ship. Attacking the Ork Kroozer would take time, and resources that are not furthering our mission while alerting every Ork in the area that Space Marines are on board. Additionally this would make landing impossible without then being swarmed by Orks aware of the fact that the ship is not their own.

I stand by evasive maneuvers, dodge the Kroozer and continue as innocuously as possible to a safe secluded landing site.

I agree with that Nox, my only issue is as far as we know its only and asteroid field. I would agree that the ork may just be shooting their way through the asteroids though.

The reason I suggested that is what if our shuttle crashes into the kroozer, or isn't space worthy, or some other evil idea that is in Othrims head. I won't want to abandon the shuttle but I will if I have to. And an Ork Kroozer has a ton of guns on it.

I believe the highlighted text is key as we don't know what's really out there, we can only see a microcosm of our surrounding space as evidenced by view is filled, so I want to know more. I am expecting that there are a LOT of Ork ships, and Tyranid ships in the area.

Agree with this. but also agree with taking the Kroozer but only if we could find away to do it quietly. Or if some sort of battle is going on between Ork and Tyranid ships we may could take it and crash it into the planet, the orks could think the Tyranid got aboard and that was the reason it crashed. though just my thoughts i will follow what is deemed the best outcome.

Ardak connects himself to the ship via his MIU a device in which he can talk to the vessels spirit personally in milliseconds he understands the vessels engine functions are sound only the cockpit has taken the damage. Sensors indicate the Kroozer in front of them which has strayed into the path of the asteroids other smaller vessels remain on its edge breaking down the larger sections. Oxygen down to 40%. From the speed and trajectory it would be possible to just miss the Kroozer and go under it but if they were to breach the hull then their speed needs to be increased by 60% in order to be able to ram the vessel and successfully breach it's hull a choice needs to be made On with conviction of cut and under and attempt landing with exposed cabin. On a good note the sensors indicate that the kroozer is going to be hit by the storm so the chances are it's gonna need repairs

I know the vessel your on is dependent on the three in the cabin but others in the hold can act. You have a player that 'may' be in trouble

After making calculations with the machine spirit, he decided on a course of action. In binary chant he gave the command to the servitor "Continue evasive manouvers. Bring us under this abomination."

He then returned to normal speech and spoke in the vessel's vox unit to the rest of the deathwatch. "Brothers, find a place for the mortal." he recommanded.
