Fafnir follows Ardak trying to impress upon the others the need for speed and stealth.

"We need to put as much distance between us and that explosion as possible." He watches the Servo-Skull bob away wishing it could more readily and quickly scan for explosives. "Py'ron, any word on the Ork movements so that we can skirt around them to the south? I do not want any more hiccups."

Heeding the Wolf priest order, Myras mag locked his bolter and drew his Relic blade, thumbing the power switch. As the disruption field sparked to life, his eyes shift from the blade to the buildings surrounding the small squad. As his eye moved over a set of buildings, a hint of movement was seen in the periphery vision. "Fafnir, I fear we are being hunted, and not by Orks. Brothers watch for Genestealers and other Tyranids." Shifting his Relic blade to his left hand, Myras drew his bolter, and flicked the safety off.

Progress is slow but steady. The servo Skull continues it's zigzag pattern every now and then it hovers to indicate the presence of a Live Mine.
Once it's located it then continues along it's merry way.

Soon the rusted Skeletons of long dead buildings line the small dirt track. The only signs of life are the splattered remains of squigs driven into untimely yet well deserved ends.

As Ardak monitors the Skull he picks up on a larger mass of machinery.
Situated several meters away from a corroded gate sits a vehicle. From the looks of it the bastard child of a quad bike and a snowmobile. With enough room up front to sit 2 marines and a covered trailer in tow possibly able to hold another 5.
