[Talon Lord Othrim]

Marines on the Ork Vehicle

As the Ork transport bangs and clatters over the rought terrain, To the far right lights can be seen from other vehicles in the distance. Aproximatly 3 vehicles are heading your way but from their distance it is unclear as to their perpose.

Magron

As he makes his way across the open ground his HUD display picks up 3 projectiles snaking their way through the sky towards him. Too small for maned craft and advancing on his possition at high speed!

"Py'ron make your way south. You are on your own until you reach your destination. Avoid detection. If you are spotted lead the Xenos any direction but south." Fafnir ordered as he continued to try and navigate the maze.

"clear Fafnir" Py'ron moves due south

Noticing the incoming hostiles,'Brother Ardak, can this...thing go any faster? We have incoming.' Liam motions to the west.

Magron launches himself further into the sky before powering forward hoping the objects can't turn sharply.

"lets hope the xeno dont see us, everyone try to hide" said the librarian after hearing liam words

Slowly but surely Magron begins to reach the apex of his jump. As he scans the scene ahead of him the 3 projectiles seem to behave erratically. They don't follow a path that conventional missiles would follow. It then become clear. 'Gargoyles'.

Py'ron

Finding himself seperated from the rest of the squad he picks up his pace and makes his way south. It does not take him long before he locates the Ork settlement ahead of him.


Fafnir

Working his way through the natural maze he finds here and there open pockets where he is able to relieve the tension in his arms and legs. This last such pocket has much more room than the others. The sides of the earth have been dug away to make a larger opening to the sky above. As he surveys the scene he see's a large tunnel sinking down into darkness below. Here and there are the littered corpses of liquefying Orks. Organic pustules throb as the purifying ooze is absorbed through leech like mouthparts. An organic film covers the floor.

Fafnir eyes the ooze and film in the expanse. "Team, this is Wolf Priest Fafnir." He voxes to everyone. "If you do not hear vox contact from me in the next hour assume I am dead, and do not search me out. In that event I think you should take Liam's lead. Complete the mission." So saying he tentatively steps into the tunnel, weapons at the ready watching for any sign of movement.

'Fight like a true Son of Russ Wolf. Know our mission will be done.' With that Liam looks back to the incoming vehicles, his muscles screaming for release.

Keying his vox, Myras calls Fafnir "Fight hard and die with Honor, Brother Wolf Priest." Shutting the vox channel down, Myras turned to Liam, "What are you thinking of doing Brother, about the Ork ahead, and about Fafnir?"
