UPON loading up Colonial Marines, the unavoidable first thought is: “This is certainly not Call Of Duty.”
Which is, perhaps, an unfair instant comparison. While the CoD franchise has had years to develop a near perfect first-person shooter, the Aliens brand is still dipping its toe in the water
If you’re looking for the super-slick gameplay that CoD fans have become accustomed to, you won’t find it here.
What Colonial Marines does offer, though, is something a bit different. It is refreshingly atmospheric, and there’s real joy to be gained from that
