Community Gaming ...And You!

Well push that all aside because we're making a weekly community gaming event!
You see, as a community we have all surrounded ourselves with similar games, mostly coming from a backing of Space Marine. Of course we grew here and there, digging our claws into the tasty cookies of Chaotic Spray-and-Pray gunfire of Halo, flying into the void in EvE, and Run-and-Gun tactics in Dust, but sometimes we just want to play with other people in a different setting. Well that's where this little arrangement comes in.
We are looking to not only keep ourselves active and playing with one another (no dirty thoughts) but also try to spike some new income into the community. I feel that playing random games at least once a week in an open environment may help not only build relationships here already but forge new ones with other players who might be looking for a new home within a community like this one.
The idea goes something like this : Once a week we pick a single game. It can be anything from PS3, Xbox, PC, etc. The games will be team/group oriented and can consist of several different titles from Borderlands 2, Minecraft, EvE, and so on. We'll simply play, enjoy, maybe record a little, and say we form a group of 5 people and play a couple hours of Halo, the players we meet we can invite to join us here and thus spike a little activity!
So who's up for this new weekly ritual? I know I am. I'm particularly looking forward to a little Minecraft. Depending on how many we can get interested, we'll start picking games and try to get this rolling asap!
EDIT : 4/28/2013 :
Space Marine has won the first week's poll. My last post reflects information on this. The new poll is now up.

1 : What days would you be available on? I'm thinking weekends might be the best, this includes Friday evenings.
2 : What games would you be most interested in? Minecraft - Halo 4 - Halo Reach - Borderlands 2 - Battlefield 3 - Mass Effect 3 - Dawn of War - Dawn of War 2 - Arma 2 - Gunz - War Thunder - World of Tanks - Dust -
Other games withstanding, we can try to keep things to a point where you don't have to have a ton of time invested to enjoy the game.

I know a fair few are getting into defiance. Myself included.
Halo 4 is always a great game to play as well. I shall watch this thread with interest.

If for the (unlikely) chance a PS3 title is chosen I can maybe bring some of my 50+ Sons of The Fallen members if some of them happen to have the game.
Another brilliant game we could do is Team Fortress 2, its free, the specs aint that demading, its a seriously enjoyable game, and its free ().
1: Should be available everyday including for late night gaming. Exceptions are most weekdays until 4PM (GMT).
2: PC: Team Fortress 2, Any other free game on Steam, Tomb Raider, Minecraft, DoW 1+all expanctions, DoW2 Retribution, Commander and Conquer Tiberium something Kanes Wrath, Supreme Commander 1, Forged Alliance and 2. Plus some others I cant remember off the top of my head.
PS3: Borderlands 1and2, Dust 514, Battlefield 2, Resistance 2, and loads others that for some reason I cant remeber.

360
Borderlands 2
Minecraft
Space Marine
Halo 4
Defiance
Assassin's Creed (Brotherhood and Revelations)
Team Fortress 2
CoD (MW and MW2)
PC:
Minecraft
LoL
DoW 1, WA, SS, DoW2 and Chaos Rising
TF2
Planetside 2

I think perhaps community games should also look at playing mini games (for want of a better term) such as the infamous "Mike Myers" in MW2.

We've got a gothic defiance discussion going on in the defiance section, if your getting into it.
I'd be down for this, u would add colonial marines to the mix, as that is best played in private matches...

Gears of War Judgement
Halo 4
Space Marine
Mass Effect 3
Might have some others but haven't played them in a while.
Fridays would be best but I go to Deathwatch Fridays so Fridays are already taken.
Saturday would be the best day as I can stay on late as I want to.
I can play weekdays but will have to come off around midnight.
This is a great idea and if there is a game I can be involved in I would be more than happy to participate.

All of Dawn of War 1 with expansions and the Ultimate Apocalypse mod.
Age of Wonder 1, 2 and Shadow Magic.
Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars Kane's Wrath.
Rome Total War and Rome Total War Barbarian Invasion.
I do have others but they are either missing CD keys, not multiplayer or torrented a while ago.
I am intending to remove my torrented games into bought games. Either through Steam or just with a CD.
Also I forgot I have MW2 and MW3 for 360.

I think I did use the M240 in some matches. In defensive locations like the building in the middle of Derail a mate and myself would plant claymores at both entrances with back up claymores just in case they broke through the first. We would then just shoot out of the windows with Snipers, Assault Rifles or Heavy Weapons.
I always wished to play against someone doing a similar tactic. Just because I would have got Sit Rep pro so much faster. I also had a USP akimbo on most classes =P
I would be interested in getting Black Ops or Black Ops II just to play Zombies. My guess is the online is awful. Just like Black Ops online was.

Keep in mind there are a ton of games out there that are either free or next to it. Something as an example would be Garys mod or Warthunder. Both are great multiplayer games for PC anyone can just dive right into.
JC - as luck would have it I just acquired a PS3 so we should be able to arrange some game time over there.
