Dead horse or not, it's an issue that needs to be addressed instead of being swept under the rug. Everyone seems very quick to report, lock, or delete threads and posts instead of discussing things.

I was simply speaking to the fact that the current thread is devolving into circumloquation, and not progressing to a beneficial end.
Though I must say the sarcasm, soap box preaching and general lack of tact and or respect that some continue to spew forth is getting old, fast.
Instead of constantly thinking others mean to do you wrong, try looking at how your words come across to others.
For the sake of the sanity of all involved, I will further clarify that I have not, nor will I, name, elude to, hint at, single out, or in any other way imaginable point the proverbial finger at any individual. Rather I am merely trying rather hard to express both my opinion and observations in a cordial and general manner.

Because me and so many other people just saw the title and ignored it. I only read it AFTER it was locked and moved to an archive.
Maybe its not just you. It was directed towards the upwards of 750 views the thread had before being moved to archive.

Mongo, there is no sort of circumlocution going on because there is no one saying anything in a roundabout way. We were simply having a discussion and responding to the admins and others talking about lack of using the report button. Are we not allowed to have discussions anymore?
And how is claiming that were beating a dead horse "progressing to a beneficial end"? Saying something like that does nothing to benefit anything. Maybe, if something doesn't concern you, you need not show a "lack of tact and or respect" by saying something that provides no benefit such as "beating a dead horse."
With that I suggest that this thread be closed as there does not seem to be any more benefit to it being open.
Check out the app called Verge I Created: http://goo.gl/OFW1yl. It's only for android now, but will be out for iPhone in the near future!
It essentially allows you to share your location with your friends, family, coworkers, etc through a group in the app. You can find everyone in your group's location by pressing a button (assuming they respond to the request), and plot it on a map. From there you are given a point that is equidistant from everyone. With this you can find a place to search for and meet up and send this location to everyone in your group telling them thats where you want to meet. There's no need to enter any addresses, and all you need to do is click a few buttons.

With regards to the deceased equine:
Humor, my dear ajar, is a conversational tool oft used in such a manner to subtly point out something that should be done, while diffusing the oversensativity of a heated moment.
With regards to this thread being none of my concern:
As a faction leader and a very active member of the community, who has spent a good portion of my free time and energy looking for and implementing ways to grow and better this site, I would say that it is indeed something I have every right to involve myself in.
However in the end I just wanted to thank you, without your rash accusations, and repeated displays of disrespect I would have a much, much harder time proving my points.
