5v5 Tactical Team Tournament

Sign-ups will last for one week once posted.

Each chapter can have 1 five man team.
TOTAL: 120 points per 5 man chapter team

Each person in the 5 man team will choose wargear and weapons from the listing below. You take your point total and add it to every person in your Squad for the total, just like the table top. Each player will place there name next to what they will be using perks and weapons they will have. This selection will be used for the entirety of the tournament.

Each chapter can have one player in reserve to play for any one player that was unable to show up but will be required to play with the load out made for the missing player.

Just like any table top tourny you are required to have one army list for the whole turny. So when you choose load outs you are stuck with it. All list will be sent to the person in charge of the turny in PM so your list will not be seen till all list are made by every chapter just like in table top you dont see the army list till your about to play them.

Special rules for squad:

Sergeant Rank: There one person you may choose in your squad to be the Sgt of the entire chapter squad. Sgt gets Weapons Versatility at 5pts and all rest wargear and weapons get 50% off(if its odd number the 1/2pts will be rounded up) There can only be one Sgt per 10 man chapter team.

1 Troop out of the 4 will be a devestator.

If team runs out of points on 4 of their people the 5th person can use a tactical with tactical readout.

Game matches- This will be a best 2 out of 3 seize ground tournament.

Before the match one of the leaders will roll a d2(coin flip):

If its 1: Your team gets first game, map, control over friendly fire.

If its 2: Your team gets last two maps and sets the point limit for the match as a whole.

This is a single elimination tournament. You win you move on, you lose you go home.

- All point system are based around SM codex and kill factor on SM. Most commonly used perks and weapons based off factors of 10pts. An rare items based off 40k lore are higher points, just like in the codex.

I can already see the tele-rapid spam fight. Should have been annihilation then it wouldn't be getting abused but it will.

I think you should up the points on Rapid Redeploy to 10 or high since this is a seize ground tournament, like Rom said some people will spam it. This is to make the tournament fun and not a, I will crush your team into the dirt with a cheap spam tactic.

If I may just say that these rules seem to over complicate a skilled based computer game and dont actually represent the skill of the player involved, I would heartly agree with them if we were going to have a table top tourney, but we are not and dont make sense, but hay thats the opinion of me and my guys, and we shall follow them as best we can.

HEY update the matches will begin this friday its up to you chapter masters to communicate and have the matches over by sunday. i will be loading the brackets today so you can see who you are facing. Sorry about all the delay but pretty soon youll get your chance to spill some blood.
