"lets just hope whatever was here Simone is gone now" as Kanta continued exploring the hallways of the complex and then stopped at one of the doors to tried and see what's inside

alot of the cells have waht looks like atrophied ghouls and skeletons.

 

It is impossibly quiet in the dark confines of the prison and everything seems to only get quieter and more menacing as you get deeper and deeper in

Kanta grips his shotgun tightly and started looking into each room he passed to make sure that nothign would come out to get the jump on him as he continued deeper into the prison

the deeper you go, the worse it gets.

 

You can see the final days where not kind in this place. The people fought against each other like rabid animals, as evident by the piles of decayed and moldering detruitus and bones littered about. SOon enough you come into a large chamber, and you are hit with a pummeling and odiously overpowering stench.

 

"Kanta...Maybe we shouldnt go in there......"
 

simone says, shaking slightly on your back

Kanta staying silent moved slowly to the wall and made sure his shotgun was loaded and ready as he tighten his grip on it

"Simon were just gonna take a peak inside" as he whispered loud enough for Simon to hear

Then leaned against the doorway and started to peak inside the room to see if anything was in there

in the center of the room, sitting ina pool of its own fetid filth, is a flesheap. It is massive, made from the flesh of hundreds of corpses. On your back, simone shivers and peeps.

"it must have been what was made by the bodies rotting above......We cant live here with something like this just under our feet"

Kanta peered into to the room to see what else was in it besides the Fleshheap itself to make sure  that there were no other surprises along with or anything that could help him beat down this thing

under it you can see that it is on some kind of grate, and it dawns on you, the room the flesheap is in is a docking area, where cargo was lifted onto the ships into the facility. SUrely there has to be some form of switchn and you see it. A single button,  amidst a sea of debris sits calmly unused.

Kanta sat near the doorway for a few moments and considered all of his options on what he could do with the flesh heap as he knew that he couldn't fight this thing by himself but the damage that pirates had done to them earlier in the day had him worried for everyone that was on the boat

 

He knew that by now they would be weary with the travel and the last battle as Kanta knew they would be even at more risk with this flesh heap lying around if he went back and tried to get others to fight it

 

But if he failed he knew that this is where it could all end since the flesh heap didn't look like one that would want a conversation if you could tell be the corpses as it felt like an eternity for him he finally decided to make his decision

 

"Simon if we get caught by this thing I'm throwing out of the room what you do is up to you alright"  as Kanta ready himself for a dead man's sprint for the button in the room and as if not giving Simon time to respond kanta busted into the room and sprinted towards the button

the flesh heap is fast, it responds to your presence with impossible speed, but you are abler to be just enough to get past those lashing barbs of flesh and hands and slamming into the button with all your force.

 

the alarms blare, and the room begins to shake as the smell of sea air begins to fill the barge. The ground begins to retract and you are barely bale to grab onto the switches  before the flesheap lets out a scream and it begins to fall.

 

suddenly, it manages to get its hand on the lip of the bay, its massive bulk hanging over the sea is it tries to haul itself back in

"No No No I'm evicting you from the building as its time for you to go" as Kanta started unloading his shotgun onto the flesh heaps hand that was holding its entire weight as he knew that he wasn't even prepared to fight this thing alone

[Thugren]

the dragons breath fires and roars in the confined space, blowing the wrist of the fleshheap off as it falls to the ocean with a massive spalsh.

 

Its roart is inhyuman and it begins to flail and thrash as predators begin to tear at its flesh and it is ripped apart by the tide.

 

below it flails in pain, but you can feel your grip loosening. you can attemopt to haul yourself up with brute force or find some wall to climb up

Kanta hoping that his grip on the level would hold out soon started looking for something else to climb up to get him out of the situation that he was in

He hauls himself up, hand over hand until he is back in the hangar, and able to look into the sea below. On the other side of the door, simone headbutts the door trying to get in.

 

"Kanta! Kanta! are you ok?!"

Catching his breath kanta began walking back towards the door where he left Simon

"Don't worry Simon I'm alright just had another fun time like always" as kanta moved to pick up the turtle and place it on his back

"So let's focus on exploring the rest of this place and getting back topside"

you find that the base is masive. Hangars holding old planes and jets, tanks from eras long lost to the history books. Soon in your stumbling you  find takus and a few of the other men looking over weapons, and when you arrive he turns and smiles.

 

"Got bored and walked around big boss? This place is a goldmine."

"Big Boss?" as kanta chuckled at the name as he moved towards Tarkus and his group

 

"where you get a name like that from Tarkus" and then sighed at the thought of it

 

"but yea I did take a look around this place is actually looking good but I have to ask did you finding anything here that could be dangerous to anyone here yet" as he waited for an answer from Tarkus

we found a few cages of dangerous ghouls...We used some of the tougher ghouls to go in and kill them so we didnt risk anyone...But thats not important... I think you may want to come with me."
 

he motions for you to follow, heading down some  stairs to the hospital wing

Kanta sighs and begins to follow Tarkus in silence as he hoped that what ever he had to show wouldn't be cause for concern

Inside what you see is astounding. The medical wing is perfectly preserved, the automated protocols having saved the integrity of the clean rooms.

 

'Looks likje where fully stocked...ALl we need to do is find the poassword to the doors and we can use them to tend our wounded."
