[Armoured Priest]

"Ja, I am definetly going have to play with you two." Burias said to himself as flames played up and down his arms and hands. He brings his hands up and sends twin gouts of flame at the back of the creatures to both burn them and grab their attentions.

The stink of necrotic burning flesh fills the air and the beasts scream in pain.

One lunges at you with impossible speed for a creature of its side as the other vomits on the ground.

A deluge of skittering insects run along the bloodsoaked earth at you , vicious mandiblers clicking

Burias tires to leap to one side to dodge the massive cleaver blad as well as send a pulse of fire from where he lands to burn away the carpet of insects before they get to them, not wanting to know what they could do to him if they got close.

You manage to dodge to the side and your flames engulf the insects, charring them mid run as the charging ghoul slams face first into the ground.

Cain slams his blade deep into the heart of one of the beasts and it lets out a horrible scream s the flames enguldf the burlap , splilling entrails to the floor in a stinking pile

[Armoured Priest]

'Why can we not fight something that is somewhat normal?' a voice perked up in his head, taking in all the wierd stuff the puppets things were doing. 'Because that's not our thing.' another one replied. Burias just ignored them as he created a number of large flame serpents and sending them out to coil around the one trying to vomit more bugs and the bugs that were already coming out to replace their burnt comrades.

the snake coils around the burlap beast and bites down, engulfing its head in its flaming maw until its struggling stops.

the second stands and roars, its chest ripping open and exposing a gapin g maw of teeth

He switches his attention from the first butcher to the one charging at him. "Want a hot meal there komrade?" Burias said with a grim as he formed a more concentrated ball of flame between his gauntled hands before he throws it into the gaping mouth in the puppet's chest.

the flame bolt engulfas the beasts maw but it slams into you, bearing you into a wall with sickening force as the teeth try to close in, ripping through the concrete with sickening ease drawuing closer to your torso as a long rancid toungue wraps around your waist.

"Nein! Nein! Bumsen Sie!" Burias swore under his breath as he tried resisting the pull of the creature's tounge into it's bowls. He was getting more upset by the fact that the thing might start corroding his uniform. His flames began playing all over him before he sends it out around him to force the thing back and burn it to ashes.

the flames engulf the beast and it staggers back, swatting and screaming in pain.

it moves to lunge at you but is stopped by a scye to its hearty, making it fall still.


Cain looks at you, his silver eyes glowing as he yanks the beast back.

"get up."

he growls as four burlap dog beasts surround the two of you.

the beasts pace you in a circlle, watching you carefully until one of them barks, splitting its skull open and revealing long tendrils of flesh tipped with wicked teeth

Burias freed himself from the debris of the wall as he stands with cain with his back to Cain's back. "Puppet dogs...with tentacle faces...right." Burias said as he watched the things pace around them. "Lets have some back up then." He says to himself before small fiery snakes spread out from him and to the bodies all around them.

The snakes hiss and spit as the dogs circle .

To notice cains hands move am soon enough a golem in the form of a heavy enforcer with a halberd stand by his side.

" burias.."

Cain growls.

" these are just worker ants... There holding us here for the warriors."

The serpents switched from trying to get to the bodies to the four doll dogs, going to latch on them and coil around them.

you pick one up and it screams, biting and gnawing at your flaming serpent.

cain lunges forward, pinning one of the beasts to the ground with his flaming scythe, the beast screams as a massive bear like puppet rips through a wall and tosses its head back roaring, tendrils udulating menacingly

[Armoured Priest]

"I guess that is one of the soldeir ants." Burias said after the teddy bear made it's entrance. Burias tries to create two more larger fire serpents to deal with the two remaining puppet dogs before they could try to jump cain as he tries to bring down an Archimedes strike on the bear.

the serpents lash out and smlam the dogs to the ground. Their burlap ignites immediately and they scream as the smell of cooking flesh fills the air..

Cain lunges to the side as the beasts arm whizz past his head and the archimedes strike comes down, slammming the bear into the eart and crushing it with a mighty slam


"That was....necessary..."

cain laughs pointing to a ladder that leads to the roof of a nearby market.

"on the double klutz"

he laughs hopping onto the ladder

Burias straigten out his trench coat as he looked over to cain. "Of course it was necess......awww." Burias finished to himself quietly as he looked up at the ladder cain pointed to and was climbing on. He shrugged as he goes and starts climbing the ladder, trying not to look down on the way up the rungs.

You get to the top and can see the whole town , it is over run with the puppets. On the far side you can see a hole in the sanctums wall and a long bloody trail.

" that's inception point..."

Cain sighs in annoyance .

" long walk.."

"You did not expect it to be easy, did you?" he asked him with a smirk underneath the skull gasmask. His head moved as he tried looking over the rest of the town, trying to see some sort of sign of life. He heard the scream earlier, he was hoping that wasn't the sound of the last surivior.

What look like children cavort in the carnage as the bigger constructs feed like beasts.
