[Armoured Priest]

[Thugren]

The humans where pressing in on all sides of the nest. The undead where being killed wholesale as your mother, freya worked tirelessly on the bones of the last patriarch .


" gheist! Arachnus!"

She yelps , arranging the pile of bones Intothe right shape.

" buy me time! These humans need to be held, twy don't know why noctournes planning! They don't know!"

There is a violent explosion and the fleshy walls of the pit shake as the orifice door that leads to where you are begins to shiver .


" brother...... ."

Arachnus growls, the brute ghast growls, clicking his long arachnoid fangs together as his clawed hands scissor.

" we hold here.."

The walls shiver as another explosion rocks the hive and you can see shadows ripping at the mucousy membrane.

[Armoured Priest]

Gheist slithered up next to Arachnus, his four monstrous scything claws tucked tightly to his elongated form. He stretched out his jaws with a crack befor his spoke, looking at his brother with slited eyes. "Uninvited house guest, these simply won't do." He said with a bare smile of long fangs.

[Thugren]

The membrane shudders and parts slightly as you see the humans sawing at it in a frenzy as your brother shifts his shoulder.

There is a shiris of snaps and pops as his chitinous slabs of plates exoskeleton lock into place and he smiles.


" you know... We will probably die here to secure a future for these heathens.."

His claws snicker open as his fangs begin to drip with venom.

[Armoured Priest]

A low hiss emenates from Ghiest. "Yes, the irony is not lost on me." he said in angry hiss, but not at Arachnus. "......think mother will be ok?" he asked now, knowing it would probably be the last thing he say as the glands arragned within the muscles of his mouth began to produce a black visicous fluid.

[Thugren]

" she will act like one of them and escape in the confusion......"

The door rips open and the heavier omniarch charges forward as the humans enter.

Bodies are pulped and flung in all directions as he rampages amoungst them his roars echo to the ceiling as you hear the fleshpits around you make a protective barrier of flesh between freya and the firefight .

" protect...."

The hives conciousness hisses in your mind as it pulses.

" protect perfect ones... Kill..."

[Armoured Priest]

'Gladly.' he thought to himself. A loud screech came before Gheist's maw yawn wide open and a stream of the dark fluid shoot out to a group of humans that dodged out of Arachnus's charge into their ranks.

The explosion rocks the hive , blasting the rampaging humans to bits in a smoldering crater.

Arach snarls in barely contained fury as the humans heavy weapons rake his hide.

Large chunks are blasted out of his armor and you can see one of his claws is already shot to pieces.

The ground at his hooves begins to shake, and jagged ghoulbone tails rip up from his back, impaling the humans directly around him like marionettes

The four talons flexed and stretched out before Gheist darted into the melee now. The scythe like blades lash out at nearby combatants as slithers between them all.

bodies fly and blood spills, the humans fire in unorganized bursts but the bullets are taking their toll.

you hear a loud bang and look up to see arachnus stumble back, his crushing claw blown clean off of his shoulder.

Gheist let out a screeching hiss as he dives at the humans resposible for wounding Arachnus, his talons a blur of slashes and jabs at their soft bodies.

bodies are ripped and pulped before his fury as you look up, just in time to see a human arm a tube and fire.


the rpg hits you in your midsection wityh tremendous force, blowing your top half from the bottom in a silken spray.

you land in a broken heap , your tail across the room from you and see arachnus borune over, his shoulders blasted to peicves as the humans swamred past you, hacking at the protective walll

Gheist could only feel the phantom twitches of his lower half, now across the room as he tried to flip himself onto his stomach with his four arms. "Mom, no." he said weakly. He tried to work the glands once more even with his vital fluids pouring out from his would. But he did not aim at the humans, he aimed at the roof above them to collapse the entry way to buy Freya a few more moments.

the shot is perfect, it hits the stone and the entire cavern shakes. The hiver lets outt a scream of pain as the stones collapse down, crushing the humans.

the humans gather around you quickly, their clubs crushing down on your hide as you notice arachnus standing.


stolwly he spits a havy ball of webbing into his hand and spins it. the incredibly sticky fuild grabbs them by droves and he swings them, slamming them into each other, shattering bone and ripping flesh.


with one arm, he lifts you so that you are on his back, his black blood pouring from his wound.

"To death my brother.......They do not get past us while we live!"

you notice his tail push into the ground again as the ghoulbone feelers begin to branch out

Gheist gives a pained smile of fangs one more time as he nodded to him. "Come on you damn naked primates, I'll fight you without half my body!" he called to the surviving humans, his talons poised and ready as he rested on Arachnus's back.

[Thugren]

arachnus charges, the forearmas and claws carving a bloody swath through the humans until another explosion sends you to both to the grounds in broken heaps.


your vision fades, the world goes dark as you see freya taken from the pit, a dark wolf following her like a pet.


"protect...the perfect ones..."

the hive hisses into your mind as the fleshy creep consumes you utterly in darkness.


It takes two centuries, but soon you feel yourself awaken, your cincious being stirred by something......

Ghiest tries focus on what was disturbing him, surprised that he was even alive, as he also tries to sit up by using his claws as he was not sure if he was still missing his lower half as well. "Want. Out." he said weakly first.

you rip out of the ground into the warm air of the ancient hive.


Bones lay scattered all around you, relics of that battle. You notice a single eyestalk hovering above you.


YOu notice that your body has been reattached, and the eyestalk moves over to you .

"one perfect one..... Soon two.."

"Two?.......Where's Arachnus?" Gheist asked somewhat dazed stil to the eyestalk as he slithered out of the rest of his body from the dirt and hive webbing now. He moved around and flexed his four scythe bladed arms as he made sure everything felt normal to him. "RPGs, not fun." he noted to himself.

[Thugren]

you see a large lump in the ground beside where you had come up and the eyestalk blinks.

"second perfect one...is unresponsive......Have tried awakening...will not respond.."
