Arachnus grunts, shifting painfully back into his human form with much effort, the looking at the core of mucous on your head.
 

'maybe we can stick him on the gators back and leave him here while we investigate."

"Ya, let scourge and Abathur get some quality time with each other." Gheist said, with no effort to hide his smile as he yanked the scale consuming grub and placing it on the bone plated back of the alligator patriarch. "Play nice you two." he said before transforming back into the lanky human form. "OW......ok....clothes...right." he said after hearing Arachnus.

Arachnus points to what looks like a sealed outpost.

 

"The humans used to store resources there.....Ill trear the door and abathur can rever to human and chill there. What do you think gheist.."

[Armoured Priest]

"My only worry is that the grub will start devouring the food in there, that's going to be hard as hell to cover up if they find out quick enough." He said as he stretched himself, trying to adjust to the knew form all over again. "As long as we find out what we need fast enough, I guess it's ok for now. How about it Ab?" he asked the gator, since he was the one who was going to get stuck there, alone, with the grub of scourge.

without waiting for an answer, arachnus pulls the door out and gestures abathur inside. Inside they find Merchant clothes nad enough supplies to leave the gator and grub there for at least a month.

 

 

 

"Now that we arent naked........ lets go gheist."

 

Arachnus grunts, putting the door into place as Scourge lets out an annoyed whine

"Oh stop we'll be back." Ghiest said to the door with a hard tap for emphasis, only for it now get bruised. "Ow, I really need to get used to this...." he grumbled to himself as he went to follow Arachnus, his own gait slowly improving as he relearned how to move with legs. It was still a truly uncomfortable feeling. "How the hell do you deal with more then two legs?" he asked him after catching up."

Arachnus smirks.

 

"YOu get used to it...Remember....Were meant to be ever evolving..Ive seen you move without a tail...On your forelegs like a hurricane."

[Armoured Priest]

"To be fair, that humvee pissed me off. And that gun on it chewed my lower half to hell." Ghiest grumbled as they continued to walk to the scap heap that was the wall of the sanctuary. "How much you want to bet they're still going to shoot at us?" he said, glimpsing at the guards on the walls and towers.

THe guards raise their weapons, and a man comes forward.

 

"Halt? who goes there!"

 

HE growls, training his weapons on your.

 

"WHere in the fuck did you come from!?"

 

Arachnus ribs you, wearing a dark smirk.

 

"YOure up brother."

[Armoured Priest]

"Of course I am." Ghiest grumbled under his breath, putting up a calm expression to not trigger the guards. He raised his hands but did not move forward as the guard has told them. "We're just civilians coming here for shelter." he told them plainly and simply, hoping the guards would just pass them off as a couple of human hobos.

"Two humans just walking through the deadzone?"

 

He asks incredulously.

"how do we know youre not one of them smart deaduns?"

 

NMore men come over, eyeing the two intently.

Some of gheist's muscled tensed instinctually as more armed guards appeared, not liking the idea of escape being cut off if worse came to worse. "If we were really some smart undeads, would we bother going through the front gates with guards?" he asked, the only convincing thought that came to him.

The humans seem to agree for a moment before one of them twitches and sends a shot into noctises arm.

 

 

 

Now, this wouldnt have been such an issue.....If noctis had actually acknowleged it. He was looking and watching a pack of shamblers trudging around and ignores the oozing black ichor coming out of his arm.

 

"open fire!"

 

the humans scream, raking your squishy flesh with a barrage of bullets that snaps Arachnus from his musing.

 

 

"oh....Well..."

 

He chuckles.

 

'i guess that went bad."

"You have a firm grasp on the obvious today don't you?" Ghiest hissed in a practically inhuman voice out of a bout of frustration. "Run now" he told Arachnus before reverting back to his normal state in order to burrow and hopefully tunnel safely away since arachnus's carapace should bounce the small arms easily enough.

The massive arachnid bursts into his full form in a spread of viscera and gore.

" I don't run.""

He grips the door and begins to pull at it, slowly making a horrible screech fill the air

"The hell are you doing? We weren't here to fight you thick headed bug." Ghiest tried to remind him as he stopped short of starting to dig. "You know we have more important things then this, lets go!" He told him as he wrapped his tail around one of arachnus's arms to make him stop.

there is a horrible screech of tortured metal as arachnus tears the steel grate  and hurls it into the distance.

 

"That is for being rude!"

 

he spits as he turns, the faces of the flabberghasted humans stuck in shock as the heavy patriach walks away into the woods

"Because ripping their door is going to make them realize THEY were being rude, right?" Ghiest hissed to arachnus as he followed behind him. He spun his elongated head on his shoulders toward the shocked guards and flicked his forked tongue out at them in an angerly fashion before continuing to follow the bigger omniarch. "Well that was a bust...." he said under his breath.

arachnus huddles down in some trees and sits heavily on his ass.

 

"Welp.....That couldve went alot better.."

 

He grips up a handful of stone and crushes it.

 

 

"Next time...Ill pay attention to keep that f rom happening."

[Armoured Priest]

"Not sure if we are going to get a next time." Gheist said as he coiled around a tree infront of Arachnus, stopping to rest his upper portion of his body to recline on a sturdy branch. "Looks like we'll just have to stick it out in the cold like usual, I'm more worried that this will prompt them to send out packs of hunters and they come across abauthur and scourge." he said as he looked over to the spider creature. "Think we should go back and look for a cave maybe to rest for now?" he asked with clicking of his mandibles.
