you rip oine from his feet with minimal effort. your gullet crunches him easily as the ghouls surround you quickly, hissing in menace.

arachnuses tails rip through the soft earth like a scourge, ripping a handful apart before you feel the ground shaking.

"So what else did you bring to play with us?" he hissed menacingly at the eyestalk before he returning his attention to the ghouls around him. Unfolding the the four sycthe talon arms, the bone blades having a gleam to them. Ghiest slashed and hacks at the ghouls around him, taking an oppertunistic chomp on another ghoul to devour.

Ghouls are ripped apart by your onslaught , torn to shreds as arachnuses tails rip ghouls to bits.

The forest shakes and a fleshheap lumbers toward you, is maw gaping

"You are going to make alot of creatures die before it's your turn, aren't you?" he hissed vehemently to the eyestalk who still seems to be staying far from the fight. Ghiest tries to slither out to one side, hoping to sidestep the lumbering monster out of it's charge as one of his claws flick out to slice at one of the flesheap's legs.

you sidestep and the fleshbeast slams into arachnus with a sickening ceunch.

Though only juvenile larvals, the fleshheaps are a massiove maw of groping arms and rending teeth.

snarling in fury arachnus is devoured whol;e as the other heap sends a clong whip of razor sharp sinew at your torso

"Oh hell no." Ghiest hissed. He flexed his talons to try to slice the projectile grappeling hook from its owner before it could land on him and bring him back to the ravenous larval flesheap.

you dont manage to cut it and the claws at the end of it open and grip your torso.

With a ferocious yank it begins draggign you toward that gaping maw, arms and teeth twittching in anticipation as you are pulled closer.

"Son of a bitch!" Ghiest yelped as he was jerked from where he stood. As he tried to regain balance, he tried to start gathering his drool from his glands before shooting the volatile substanence into the gaping flesheap larva.

You manage to get the shot off and the beast swallows it.

It cocks his head for a moment before it explodes violently, sneding limbs and teeth in all directions as the hook goes slack.

the other flesheap seems to be in distress. Its form usulates violently, as if arachnus is flailing about in his death throes.

"Fuck! I'm coming! I'm coming!" he shouts as he quickly slithers to the flailing flesheap. "Time to play doctor!" he says before he goes to cut the creature open to get Arachnus out of the thing before he was digested.

You slice open its stomach enough for arachnuses claw to grip a hold and rip outward.

Organs, small fetal ghouls, and half digested humans spill onto the ground in a stinking heap as the brute omniarch stomps out, his tails rippibng the inner walls of the fleshheap to ribbons

"It's still twitching!" Ghiests shouts as he then begins to start stabbing at what passess for the flesh heaps skull and other vital areas, getting visibley frenzied at the slaughter he was starting now after killing a number of ghouls and two larva flesh heaps.

the beast roars in pain, hurling you off as arachnus grabs its head, wrenching it to the side with a sickening crunch.


everything goes silent for a long time as arachnus regains his breath, his carapace mending itself from the horredous cracks it sustained

Ghiest picked himself back up, shaking off debris off his torso carapce as he looks over to arachnus. "....So, you good?" he asked as he clicked his mandibles to readjust them. He looked around to see if he could spot the damned eyestalk as well.

the yestalk is nowhere to be seen and arachnus simply growls.

"that is one expereicne i wished i never would have.."

he shivers, shaking his platwers and looks for the scorpion.

He finds it, half digersted in one of his armored grooves and he frowns.

"Oh gods damnit.."

Ghiest slithers up next to his brother the moment he heard him swear and saw the reason laying in his hand. "...Gods. Damn. It. To. Hell." he hissed slowly. He was silent for a moment before his body gave off a violent shudder, a physical sign of the Ghiests mood to the entire day's events, all right after awaking for the first time in centuries as well. "I guesss we set out the original direction we set off with and maybe find the mountain king. I'm not sure he will be sending another messager anytime soon." he said as he looked down to the one in arachnus's hand. "Poor bastard didn't deserve that." he said as a bit of an afterthought.

arachnus crushes the scorpuion.

"Things have gotten bad brother...I can sense it in the land, i can sense it in the air.Nightmare is getting cloer to waking up day by day...Soonm he will rip himself free from the earth."

arachnuses tails return to his spine and begins to qwalk, crushing the tiny scorpion into a pulp in his hand.

"We cant trust this all to coreus....The Seed hasnt strenghtened enough yet..We raise our brothers and sisters...We take the war to the mouth of hell to buy the humans time again."

"The irony.....it feels too damn familiar." Gheist hissed as he shooked his head. "As long as there is no rockets then." he tried to jest with a slight smirk. "We would need to organize, The patriarchs and matriarchs are probably too scattered or isolated as it is." he thought aloud as his blades scraped against each other, a habit he does when he goes into serious thought.

The undead move in mighty hearsds through the derelict shells of humanity and arachnus points to a mountain in the distance.

"that is his mountain..More than a two day trudge...We will need to hydrate soon or our muscles will begin to lock up."

Ghiest looks around at the desolate derelicts from their vantage point, the opposite of what he remember of the area looking like before the hive was invaded and they were forced into hibernation. 'Alot has really changed.' he thought to himself grimly. "There should be some source of water around here, going to have to look for though." he said to arachnus as he starts to slither off in their search.
