she sits cross legged as you can see various scorpions peeking out of corners and crevassses.

"Scorges ability? How does a human have it?"

she shrugs dismissively.

"And yet it seems like we are losing." He grumbled, his hiss still prevalent in his voice even in his human form. "Well, what do we do now? Because I have no idea if mother has a plan in motion or not. The only thing I do know so far after awaking is that a) shit's fucked up, mother needed us, and c) we slept too long." he finished as he stood where he was. Mostly because he wanted to, and slightly because he doesn't want to show how he somewhat forgot to sit down and didn't want to fall flat on his back.

arachnus grunts as he folds his arms.

"We need to get scorge ...Im sensing nightmare...I can sens him thrashing around...Without scorge we wont even be abe to get ot the node thats nearby."

the scopion leader looks at arachnus shocked.

"you plan to kill the node?! are you insane!"

Ghiest raised a brow as his head cocked to aside. "That's always been up to debate, even mother wondered." He shrugged. "And why not, if nightmare is waking up, then the node will not be as dangerous now his use is of no more, or very little." He said as he reclined against a wall. "But he will still be a problem that we need to deal with, soon. Anyone know where the drake went anyways?" he asked, looking mainly at Abathur and Dailious.

Abathur shrugs as he deadpans and Lessa hisses.

"He went north....He resides in the mountains but he takesn o visitors....he hasnt spoken in years."

Arachnus grunts.

"Hell talk to us."

"As long as he doesn't have some little thing inside him like Abathur did." Gheist said pointing to the former crocodile. "Then I'm sure he'll be a little more open to us." he said with a smirk at the idea of meeting scorge again."If he's north then that's were we should start going. I'm guessing you are staying here though or would you like to come along with this little ragtag group?" he asked looking over to Lessa.

She hakes her head.

"If i leave i risk my tribe warring with the humans....YOu all be safe...Come back in one peice old ones."

she stands and leaves the room and arachnus grunts.

He snorted a little. "It's not as if I thought any bit of what I been hearing was good." he shook his head. "Shit is worse then even probably mother expected...." he said, trailing off a little. He looks over to him. "I'm just kind of lost of how to help get things back on track." he said to him, his tone quieter then earlier. "But finding scorge is a good first step, right?" he asked his arachnid brother.

"I dont know...>Scorge is strong...why would he retreat from the world....Could it be he is dying?"


abathur shivers hard at the words.

"Scorge? no way...He couldnt be..COuld he?"


Abathur clicks his teeth..

"Its been centuries.....Mothers work could decay...Look at the hive node....it went rouge."

"Rouge, or planted by someone else, but that's just me being paranoid." he shrugged. "Still need to kill the little bastard too..." he growled to himself. He stopped and shook his head, realizing how pathetic it sounded to his actual form. "Well we won't know anything till we go up those mountains and talk to Mr.Scaly himself." he said to both of them.

As they exited the crater arachnid grunts and shifts . Swelling Ito his normal form the patriarch snarls all the chitinous joints on his back as he looks up the mountain.

Massive carrion crows watch them , eager liking razored beaks as twy consider the hidden patriarch human forma

"Boy he knows how to make an inviting place." Ghiest said with no small amount of sarcasm as he watched the carrion birds stare back. Without paying much mind to the feathered audience, he continues moving forward as he goes back to his normal form as his body lengthens and his scything limbs sprout out of him.

one of the birds is brave and it comes careening at you, scratching at your face with razlor sharp talons as arachnus smirks.


"Gheist it must think your dead!"

the bird latches to your face and screeches horribly flapping its wings

"Oh you little bastard!" Ghiest hissed enraged as his body recoiled upwards with his body coiling underneath him. His maw open up wide as he tried to eat the bird whole.

you manage to get your jaws around it but not before it rakes its claws through your armoured plates, tearing a wicked rend across them. YOu comsume it whole, bones and all and arachnus smirks.

He chuckles to himself as the mountain rum,bles ominously, a strange smoke coiling in the air

Ghiest just grumbled at Arachnus as the mass slide down his gullet. "The hell is wrong with the birds, Neveromore is still around, right?" he asked abathur. Then he looked up at the mountain. "You don't think that he made have gotten a parasite thing in him just like the one in abathur?" he asked them both as he pondered on the thought.

Arachnus grunts asd another tremor shakes the mountain . "Im thinking that may be the case."

"She's fighting with that arrogant little turkey?" Ghiest hissed. "Ever since he was born he was hard to deal with, but I never would have thought it would be ever be bad enough to have a war started." he said as he looked up. After a moment of silence he spoke up in a more cheery tone. "Well, time to play doctor." Gheist said with a smirk as he began slithering up the path.
