[Thugren]

you come to a massive crater and your heart stops. Restying in the center is the massive draconian patriarch. But its flesh sloughs off in great sloabs. Its scales are molded over, and a rancid aura fills the air.

FUCK"


ARachnus bursts, slamming his claws into the earth as he lays eyes on the once mighty patriarch.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK"

[Armoured Priest]

Ghiest could feel his elongated heart sink as he looked upon scourge in his decaying condition. It wasn't just the fact the patriarch was one of their best chances in the war, but he was also their friend. Not waiting for the other to recover from their shock, Ghiest slithered down the side of the crater to scourge's head. The sounds of breathing and rumbles earlier made it seem like he was still alive. "Scourge? Can you hear me buddy?" he said quietly to the dragon.

one eye opens weakly, and you can see that the dragon is very much still alive.

"Gheist....(Old friend...it is good to see you well.."

The massive wyrm tries to move but can only manage to lift its head long enough to consider all three patriarch beasts.


"You come after so long...I was beginning to lose hope."

[Armoured Priest]

"Sorry we're so late, shit happened and stuff. But hey better late then never right?" he tried to joke, his weak chuckle dying off in his throat. "....What happened to you friend?" he asked scourge, still in horrid awe of the drake's condition.

[Thugren]

He moves his head and looks out at the world.

 

"i did what i could.....>I had to eat and there was only one food source for me.....So i got like this.."

 

 

he lays his head back down weakly and looks at arachnus.

 

"Im sorry friend....It looksd like ive failed you."

 

arachnus shakes his head.

 

"No friend....YOu did fine..."

"I think it's the other way around with us not waking up soon enough." Ghiest said as he coiled his body into a resting pile next to scourge's head. "Is there anything we could do for you scourge? Because right now I'm really lost as to what we need to do now." he admitted, his mandibles clicking in confusion.

the massive beast shakes his head weakly.

 

 

"im old...and very tired friend....I need food.."

 

arachnus shakes his head.

 

"We can rip out his core.... implant it in a larvae and  pray to god he can jold his mind long enough to manage tghe form>"

[Armoured Priest]

"We would need to find a suitable larva for his core first." He said as he scratched the carapace plates on his head with a scythe talon. He looks over to Arachnus. "How hard do you think it would be to find one?" he asked. He glanced at scourge and then back to Arachnus. "And maybe we should feed him till we find one?" 

[Thugren]

the gator shrugs as arachnus folds his heavy pincers across his chest.

 

"Flesh heaps usaully leave behind larvae in their breeding grounds to the east.....if we take his core and shove him into the larvae we should be able to rebirth him."

[Armoured Priest]

"I guess we are heading east then." Ghiest said, not sure what else to do. He looks over to scourge and moved his head down to his level. "You ok with us trying this buddy?" he asked him. He doubt the removal of the core will be painless, and the process a thing of chance as well.

[Thugren]

the dragon rolls on his side, expsoing his sternu wich is glowing faintly.

 

"At this point....Dying would be a release friend if it fails."

 

 

Arachnus clicks his claws but looks over to you.

 

"Would you like to do it gheist...You got the slicers...im just the render."

[Armoured Priest]

"Yea, sure, I'll do it." Ghiest said with a bit of hesitence as he slithered over to Scourge's chest. "Lets just hope death doesn't have to be the only option for you old friend." he said before his four scything talon flexed out and into the dragon's chest, trying to remove his core as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Your blades bit deep and the dragon only grunts as he dies. With a final sigh you carve deep into his chest until you find what looks like a tiny pale white grub with eyes.

It looks at you confusedly and peeps.

" be careful cutting me free."

[Armoured Priest]

"I don't know wither to find this cute or sad...." Ghiest said after seeing the inner core of Scourge. He looked at the tissue around the grub like creature. "Try not to squirm too much there." He told it as his talons reached into the carcass to start slowly slicing away the discolored flesh from the core. "This is probably going to be the only time I get to say that I'm bigger then you." he said with a small smirk of his mandibles.

he hisses.

 

"You are always tinier than me snake! ALWAYS"

 

arachnus grunts shaking his head.

 

"SIze complex between two lizards"

[Armoured Priest]

"I'm more of a insect snake thing then a lizard." Ghiest shrugged as he carried scourge out of his body. "Besides, I find it funny." he chuckled. "And you, you know it's temporary so don't have a temper tantrum over it, little one." he said to scourge. "Now then, we go off east then?" he asked the rest of them.

arachnus grunts as scourge flails manically in your hands.

 

"Sit me on your head...or shoulder! the bouncing is making my jelly wriggly! its mkaing me.."

 

He vomits all over your face, coating you in a putrid birth slime.

[Armoured Priest]

"............How the hell did mother deal with us when we were little....." Ghiest said under his breath as his tail twitched madly behind him, the bile on his face still sliding off the carapace plates. He sat the whining grub creature that is scourge onto his head. "When we see mom, I'm telling her I love here and sorry for everything I did when I was a larva." he said as he started slithering forth, not wanting to talk about what just happened.

Arachnus smirks, chuckiling to himself.

 

"Hey uh.....YOu gonna burp it ?"

 

Arachnus asks, making the crocadilian primarch burst into a fit of giggles, grappign his underbelly

He snapped his head around and glared at the omniarch and patriarch with murder in his eyes. "Keep that up and I'm shoving him down your gullets." Ghiest hissed at both of them before continuing back down the path they took earlier, mumbling to himself as black bile started dripping from his mandibles.
