arachnus grunts, clacking his claws as he walks.

 

"You gonna slice your friend up....And push him down?"

 

The tiny grub looks at arachnus annoyingly and howls.

 

"I am death!"

 

arachnus chuckles, patting ghesist on the shoulder.

 

 

"You are a core of mucuous with a face."

"Let's just find something big and nonintelligent, have you knock it the fuck out, and I'll insert anklebiter here into the new biomass." Ghiest grumbled under his breath as he slithered down the rocky path of the mountain. "At least we're making some kind of progress.....I guess..." he  thought aloud, wanting to travel on something softer then jagged rock.

arachnus smirks wide.

 

"We could just leave him there....Its kinda interesting to see you walking about with a large jellybean of ghoul goo on your head."

[Armoured Priest]

"And deny us a giant flying fire breathing lizard against the swarms? I think not." he scoffed as he adjusted the squirming mass on his head for better balance. "Besides, I'm pretty sure he would tattle to mother of how we didn't even try to look for a new host for him. he with chuckling hiss as they finally got to the bass of the mountain. "....What would be a good host for grubby drake here?" he wondered aloud.

arachnus just looks skyward and blinks.

 

"if there are ghouls here...Why are .."

 

Gunfire rakes the ground where he stood, pocking his carapace in deep gouges.

 

"OW!"

 

he snarls, shoving gfheist down and covering him with his body.

"HUMANS"

Ghiest tries to coil his entire body in a tight ball as much as he could under Arachnus. "Oh great! Like this was needed!" he said as he made sure Scourge was covered completely with him still stuck on his head. "Stop shooting you assholes!" he shouted more in frustration more then anything. He knew in grub form, scourge would be killed easily.

the shells hammer arachnuses stone hide, and he growls as tendrils rip into the earth and feed into the ground.

 

 

"I SWEAR TO CHRISTMAS im goign to eat their bones!"

 

A chorus of screams fill the air as you can see blood huirled into the air above them."

 

Gheist move up the hill....stiuck the grub to my belly and do waht you do best."

"You heard him, he's your ride now." Ghiest said to scourge as he used the flat side of his talons to leverage the sticky grub off him and up on to the underside of Arachnus. Now free from a rather heavy load, he twisted around to face the ground underneath them and began to burrrow into the earth and towards the gun men, using the senses he was created with to guide him.

You emerge from the earth behind the men and they let out a scream as four of them begin battering your hide wht heavy shock clubs

Ghiest gave a violent hiss as he starts slashing at the surprised men with his scything talons as the mauls bounced on his carapace, trying to keep all four of their attention away from the rest of them as he tried to butcher them.

a rocket slams into his hide, flinging him backward and making him land on a ledge below the men / guinfire hammers his hide in a brutal stacatto as you see them wheeling a heavy chain rifle into place above you

Seeing the heavy equipment being readied to fire, Ghiest forces his saliva glands into overproduction. As the black fluids began to buildup, he aimed his maw at the crew and gun and launched the payload at them.

the men are blindsided by the torrent of goo and frozen in place for several secodns before the goo explodes,blasting them to bits where they stand.

 

below arachnus grunts and stands.

 

'are they dead yet?!"

 

he growls, lookign around.

"I don't know, is hot lead still raining on you?" Gheist hissed back as he slithered through the corpses strewn about. "Who the hell where these humans?" He said to himself as he looked at, trying to figure out if these were random ghoul hunters or if they belonged to some one of many military groups that he remembered before he was forced into hibernation.

the grub pipes in annoyedly, spreadign a thick slime across arachnuses chest.

 

'fanatics....They are called the brotherhood....They think were gods."

"They think we're gods and they try to use bullets. I see human line of thinking hasn't changed that much over the years." Ghiest hissed. He stabbed one of the more intact bodies with a scything talon. With a sicking crunch, the body as a whole went into gheist's maw, devoured by the omniarch. "We should get moving again, I don't want to keep dealing this with fragile cargo." Ghiest insisted as he pointed at grub scourge.

arachnus removes the grub and plops it atop your head with a wet slap, coating your xscales in thick green slime.

 

"All we need is one husk...thats it."

 

scourge smiles contently as he begins gnawing on your scales.

 

"I like your scales better."

[Armoured Priest]

"I swear to mother, if you actually start eating them, I eat you." Ghiest grumbled to the grubby gnawer on his head. He slithered after arachnus, hoping they find a husk sooner rather then later for the sake of his skin now rather then to give scourge a body again. "Why is this such a hard thing to do?" he hissed under his breath as the group moved on once more.

a couple scales vanish into the tiny grubs mouth and he looks at you with wide eyes.

 

at the top it is flat and barren, but a amssive valley spans before you. Visious and war toen, this are ahad been the staging point for the battle of gurrus falls. The battle before the battle in the hive that had cost you your life. here human and ghouls clashed in a viscous three way conflict with patrriarch forces, trying to keep the enemies back long enough to cultivate coreuses core.

 

 

The land bears the scars of the battle with necrotic pride. Packs of undead rove the land, mauling and attacking each other savagely . On the far side of the valley a hastily built sanctum can be seen, with human defenders keeping a steady watch over the centwer of the massive valley

"We're going to stick out like a sore thumb here. And I bet the humans over there will be as welcoming as the ones we met earlier." Ghiest said, his talons clicking against his carapace as he thinks. "....We're going to have to go human again and hide the grub in something." he sighed, no other more appeasing idea appearing in his brain for now.
