"What do you mean? What makes obsidian dangerous?" She asked Lorana in a whisper? Sorianna puts her arm under Lorana's, supporting her as she follows the lumbering golem.

The golem stops a a large door am motions for krieg to hack it .

" this unit I dangerous to your kind because obsidian has the ability to nullify the mutated genomes that allow control over substances...... My chassis is mad of it as are most of my necessary circuits .... My weapons are also made to leave bits in the bloodstream to weaken mutants.."

Krieg looks up a the zealot.

Sorianna looked at the bladed chains coiled at his sides, seeing them shine dully in the low light of the dungeon. "So you could completely shut me down." She readjusts her grip on the skulls "Would you ever have need to attack me Ashram? And are there more of you?"

The golem turns to you as krieg works

" this unit has no need to harm the one called sorianna..... Your abilities could do me no harm. "

He turns away making the chains jingle.

"There are a total of six units... Excluding this one..."

"Six others? Do they have the same purpose as you?" She glanced over her shoulder back the way they came. Her mind still lingered on the image of Nightmare standing above her, his insane cold eyes staring at her. A deep shiver runs down her spine.

The door grunts open revealing a dark cave lined with luminescent fungus.

" no they are placed to other prisoners.... I am solely created to the containment of nightmare .."

Buzzing insects swirl around you as you notice the skulls in your hands glowing oddly.

Madeus whispers from the back of your mind.

Sorianna jumps, nearly dropping the skulls in her shock. "Ma...Madeus? Brother..." her voice is shaking, "..is that really you?" Her hands trembling hard she holds up the head to stare into the eyeless sockets.

Tears begin to well up in her eyes. "Please tell me that isn't you...please tell me you and sister haven't been trapped here by that monster."

His voice is weak but the blood you had taken from predator before swirls around both skulls until they lift into place.


"Yes it is me.."

He grunts as of shaking off a deep sleep.

" how have you been... How is the village."

Tears pour uncontrollably down her face as she looks at the skulls before her. "Do you even realize how long you've been...and now here you are...asking how the villiage is?" She starts laughing as the tears continue to run down her face.

"I missed you so Madeus." She turns to the second skull a sad smile on her face. "I'm sorry Lexanna...about the fight we had that day....I didn't think I would be seeing you...like you were..." The tears start flowing faster down her cheeks.

Both skulls look at you and chuckle.

" sorianna... Relax.."

Lexana whispers, bobbing in front of you as lorana chuckles .

" you worry too much sister.."

Leanna laughs bobbing up and down lazily.

"It's been a log time since we where imprisoned in that beasts blood.... It's good to be out even if its like this.

Sorianna reaches out and touches the cheeks of her siblings. She starts to laugh through the tears. "I've missed you both so much. We must catch up...but not now." She looked back into the prison, shuddering again. "I want to leave this place."

They both laugh as the golem stops suddenly , making krieg collide with his backside.

The cavern is filled with undead , they are covered in weeping spores and they look up heading the gear within ashram grind.

" thi unit will wade through the undead...."

He point to a rickety hang rail.

" structural safety is questionable... Excecise caution."

"Everyone please be still for a moment." Sorianna closes her eyes, taking a deep breath. She let her mind sink into the avian half of her sharpening her hearing. With minute adjustments of her head to focused in on the different sounds of the cave.

You hear something that startles you...

You hear humans.. Whispering chittering in insanity deep within the cave.

Ashram leaps down with a thunderous crash and the fouls flee as he draws his chain spinning it in deadly arcs as krieg motions at you.

" c'mon hun we don't have all day."

Sorianna pulls back to the control between human and owl and looks at Kreig standing in front of her.

"There are people here. Deeper in the cave." She moves to the edge of the cliff face. "How do you plan to get down?"

Krieg points to the railing and stands on it, wen it doesn't protest under his suits weight he begins to walk.


" sister.... That man Cain... There's more to him then most know... He is not just a man."

She turns to Lorana. "After you. I'll be right behind you." She waits for Lorana to pass onto the bridge and speaks to her sibling.

"I can guess you have learned much in your imprisonment." she frowns slightly. "How is a man not only a man?

" he is the son of a defiant... A mortal that cheated the natural order. Is is not simply made to fight the undead.... He is meant to rip their cancer out completely..


Madeus whispers as you notice lorana watching you carefully.

Sorianna catches Lorana's gaze and holds it as she moves forward slowly. She whispers to Madeus, "Father said something similar about me. He told me I was created to fight the undead, to bridge the gap between human and varghen, and I find out that Nightmare wants to kill me for being a threat to him, all because he cursed me with sanguimancy..."

She looked up at her brother's skull. "I'm in a dangerous mess aren't I? And I don't even remember why. What else do you know about Cain?"

Madeus asks looking at you.

"You talked to him at great length after the skirmish...He and his friend even ate with us before their company left!"

Below you hear a loud crash and the ghouls scream in pain as the golem flings them through ancient guard posts overtakene by fungus
