you move amoungst a blur of strikes, metal collides with fist, and fist collides with metal. SOon , bioth of you are spent, and the angel comes forward.

 

"perfect perfect.....Its abnout time we finish up and have you meet your friends."

Roberto stares at the angel for a moment before recomposing himself

"I have been around for far to long to have any friends left alive" and looked towards his sparring partner for the match

"You were pretty good surpised you didn't try to get me to concede"

Cortez grunts and his arm crumbles, and he lets out a slight chuckle.

 

" I cant beat you into a stalemate commander....Im just here to test and see if you can do it.:"

 

The angel tuts and shakes his head.

 

"Youre right...But these men are the sons of those friends..... Many of them willing to take up after their leader."

"then assemble the men and get yourself fixed up" as Roberto looked to his arm and grinned at the power that it manage to bring out

 

"I want to see the men and women that are going to follow me into bloody war"

the angel leads yo uacross the base, and soon yo ustep into a massive hanger.

 

as the door opens you hear the clicking of boots and before you an entire batallion of men, in remarkably accurate marine attire can be seen.

 

"Bulldog corps!"

 

a man at the front yells and  at once all the men move their hands up to theior heads to salute.

 

"at ease!"

 

there is another uniform set of clicks and the men go to a resting poisiytion as the man slowly turns to his superior.

 

"COmmander roberto... I am Hogarth Tarkin.. Son of your second luitenant..it is an honor to finally meet you sir."

"well its good to meet you Lieutenant Tarkin" as Roberto then turned to look at his men for moment

 

"So I take it this is all of you" as Roberto took his time to remember the faces of his new unit and tried to put them to the men he used to commander so long ago

SOme of them have familiar features, and some are foreign. but soon enough the angel comes forward, clicking his pen .

 

"is everything to your liking roberto?"

 

he asks calmly.

 

'we have a timeline."

A smirk is seen on Roberto lips

 

"Everything is fine but if you have a timeline for me then tell me everything now" as Roberto then turned his gaze to the man waiting for his answer

he double clicks his pen.

 

"your grandson is deployed already to lead an insurgency point. he has began in egypt/ To start this war i want you to land on the western african front. YOu will engage Damiens forces directly and try to draw their focus away while we have your grandson start rallying further forces... We need to find waht damien is protecting."

Roberto considers his words

 

"Then lets us get a foot hold in Africa before we begin assaulting him to find out what you want from this Damien" as Roberto considers which part of Africa would be a decent staging ground for this assault

 

"But remember if this one that has my blood is anything like me then you better not leave him idle for long since he might cause more trouble then you can handle"  and stared at the man in question waiting for a reply

it takes months... Hard months amoungst these angels, but soon enough you are packed on a boat and lead to the shores of the dark continent. The world hadnt changed much from how you left it, but what you can see is astounding. ANimal people, intelligent ghouls. All of these things didnt exist before and now.....There is some semblance of life. Soon enough though you are on the freighter and the distant sight of the dark continent can be seen.

 

"Roberto.....Report to the bridge."

 

a mechanical voice croons from the intercom.

 

"We have to begin operations."

Roberto took another puff of his cigar before he flicked it over the edge of the ship and began to move his way across the ship to the bridge so that he could be briefed as he reminisced on what he had learned over the past months

 

One could only have had many thoughts about what happened to the people of the world as in what they had become, Varghan, Animals, undead that can think , hell even mutants

 

But for Roberto he could only think about on how these band of freaks can be used to the best of there ability's for his purpose

The captain, a tall man with a robotic eye and double shins bows his head respectfully. His shirt has the word “bulldog” written on it and he wears a marine Corp emblem on his chest.

“ as I live and breathe..... it’s good to see another marine.”

He bows his head and offers a robotic hand.

“ my name is Tobias German..... I was out in cryo when the bombs dropped.... you’re a legend sir.”

Roberto could not help but chuckle at his name for a moment as he then returned the gesture and gripped his hand

 

"I merely do my duty Captain and as long as I breath I live to fight" as he gave the man a shake and then pulled his hand back 

 

"So tell me what chaos are we getting into today" as now that introductions are out of the way all that was left was the briefing

Beachhead...."

he says pointing to the menails making tents and digging trenches for men, all of them bearing the old colors, and even the bulldog motif of the marine corp.


"we have some allies farther in....Some even say somone took control of an old oil rig and are using it as a staging ground...we play our cards right we can trap the ghouls right in between the forces."

Roberto was in thought for a moment as he then began speaking 

 

"Alright then continue everything as order but I don't want to know who is on that Oil rig" as Roberto Bark out

 

"I don't want us to be caught out there with another enemy after taking these ghouls out so find out what you can before this operation is even complete" as he then waited for his order to be carried out

in that moment, Roberto feels something, so,mething hes felt before.

 

The world goes black, and in the distance he ca nsee it.  A single ghoul, but the way it stands, the cocking stance, he could see it.

 

"look...At the old relic they broke from cryo."

nightmare voice laughs in the commanders head, making his teeth grit.

 

"Cain must be desperate......Tell me has he died yet? are you his vainglorious last stand?"

Roberto could only scoff at what nightmare was saying in his thoughts

 

"Whatever Cain wants or whatever he has planned is of no consequence to me Nightmare" Roberto replied to the Ghoul

 

"if anything I would have snapped his neck myself but he choose to leave me to my own...devices"  Roberto Continued on as a crooked smile was beginning to form on his own face

 

"Nightmare...this world was made for me and since its still standing I do want to see what it would be like when there is nothing left...would you like to see it" As Roberto then finished wanting to show that Nightmare that Roberto was not hero riding at Dusk but a executioner to end it all

The ghouls shiftys its weeight so that it stands with its hand on its cheek, mocking the warrior with a laugh before contiuing.



"THat makes me so happy to hear...SO happy... Your line, your sons....Your children are a right thorn in my side..... But knowing you are back gives me hope...I wont be bored."

Roberto leaned his head to the side in thought as Nightmare spoke those words as a sadistic grin slowly started to form on his face

 

"Sons....Lines....Nightmare....Things like that don't matter to me, if anything I would break them first before you would even get close" as Roberto spoke out with a smirk forming on his face

 

"and I do mean break them since we can't have them picking on a poor cancer ridden man that only a mother a mother love...if barely" with Roberto chuckling at his own insult as he continued to stare at Nightmare in mild contempt

 

"But if you also talk about lines then I wonder if you have children as well...I wonder if I should send you there heads or maybe what's left of them when I get my hands on them as well...I'm sure it would be right fun wouldn't it" as Roberto seemed to give a crazed smile to Nightmare as he waited for his response
